All orders are shipped out within 2-5 business days of cleared payments.

Shipping Options (Canada-Wide)

  • $25 Tracked Signature Expedited Parcel via Canada Post
    • Includes $100 insurance
    • Additional insurance: $2.75 per extra $100 of coverage, available up to a maximum of $5,000 total coverage
  • Other carrier options (FedEx, UPS, Purolator) available upon request

General Shipping Notes

  • All packages are shipped with tracking and require a signature upon delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is correct before shipment.
  • Insurance claims (if needed) must follow the carrier’s requirements and timelines.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.

Maritime Coins and Collectibles does not accept responsibility beyond delivery confirmation by the carrier. Additionally, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions to delivery services or carriers to leave parcels unattended or deliver at a different address than provided such as neighbors, building managers, or other units at your address.

Maritime Coins and Collectibles does not deliver to PO Boxes.

Local Pickup

No charge for this service, just place your order online and pick it up at a set meeting spot.

Open Box Program

Open Box Program Overview
For customers who want to save on shipping costs, we offer an Open Box Program:

  • $10 fee to open a box
  • You can keep the box open until either:
    • It is full, or
    • 3 months have passed (whichever comes first)
  • Once you choose to close and ship your box, standard shipping rates apply.
  • Items added to your open box are securely stored, tracked, and prepared for shipment when requested.

How It Works

  1. Pay the one-time $10 Open Box fee.
  2. Add purchases over time—no limit on the number of additions.
  3. Notify us anytime to close and ship your box.
  4. Choose your shipping method and insurance level when the box is ready to ship.

Terms & Notes

  • Open boxes expire 3 months from the date they are opened.
  • If no shipping instructions are provided by the 3‑month mark, we will contact you before closing and invoicing shipping.
  • Standard shipping policies, including insurance options, apply to all Open Box shipments.
