Description
Introduced in 2011, the Royal Canadian Mint’s silver wildlife series of coins have become perennial market favourites. A total of six different Canadian wildlife species are represented in finely crafted bullion coins, struck from the same 99.99 per cent pure silver as the Mint’s world-famous Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins. The coins bear a face value of $5, and the obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created in 2003 by Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt.
The Silver Wolf was the very first coin in the series, and highlights the Canadian Timber Wolf against a full moon backdrop. These coins are highly sought after and appear very rarely in today’s market.
Here is a second chance to own a piece of RCM bullion history!
This coin is a must-have for collectors of Canadian wildlife and silver bullion. Its intricate design make it a valuable addition to any portfolio.
