Introduced as Australia’s First .9999 Silver Bullion Coin in 2016, this 1 oz 2023 Australian Silver Kangaroo serves as the latest addition to the Australian Bullion Coin Program. The coin program gives investors the opportunity to secure the country’s animal icon, which has traditionally been found on its premium gold investment coin series, in pure silver. The new Silver Kangaroo coin honors the classic design which has been featured on the Australian Kangaroo gold kilo release for more than two decades, and is the perfect long-term strategic addition to complement its gold counterpart. Offering a new security detail, the coin includes an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter ‘A’, which can be found within the first A of AUSTRALIA. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass and is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited. The obverse of the coin showcases Jody Clark’s new intricate design effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
